6th Company Sappers and Miners,
who departed this life
on the 25th April 1851,
aged 40 years.
Deeply regretted by all who knew him.
John Warren arrived in New Zealand on 5th August 1847 aboard the "Ramillies" amongst a group of a dozen unnamed Sappers and Miners, combined with, or as an adjunct to, the Fencibles on that ship.
