Died March 25th 1888.
This monument was erected as a token
of esteem by the officers and men of the
Ponsonby Naval Artillery of which he
was captain from its formation
till the time of his death.
Also his beloved wife,
FRANCES,
Born Sept.11th 1846,
Died Sept.13th 1918.
