beloved wife of Arthur Coyle,
died 5th March 1900,
aged 56 years.

ARTHUR COYLE,
beloved husband of the above,
died 27th October 1902,
aged 63 years.
Rest in peace.
This man was the only son of Fencible Arthur Coyle, who arrived in New Zealand on the "Clifton" 23rd January 1848, died 21st May 1849, aged 40 years and was buried at Panmure. Margaret Mary née Coyle, wife and mother of these two men, married secondly to Michael Hartnett and died 26th December 1899, aged 89 years. They are both buried at Onehunga. Mercy Ellen Pane Coyle is called Mercedes on the Cemetery Burial cards at Auckland Public Library.
COYLE - On March 5, 1900, at Summer Street, Eden Terrace, MERCY ELLEN PANE COYLE, the dearly beloved wife of Arthur Coyle, aged 56 years. Requiem in pacé. The funeral will leave her late residence at 3 p.m. today (Tuesday) for the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Symonds Street. Friends are invited to accept this invitation.
