Sacred to the memory of
ROBERT BRUCE,
late of Te Awamutu, Waikato,
died 16th April 1884,
aged 41 years.
Also his brother,
DAVID BRUCE,
late of Te Awamutu,
died 22nd January 1893,
aged 48 years.
Natives of Caithness.
Peaceful be your silent slumbers,
Peaceful in your graves below,
You no more our song will sing,
Yet again we hope to meet you
When the day of life is fled,
And in Heaven with joy to greet you
Where no farewell tears are shed.
Also their sister,
CHRISTINA BRUCE,
died 6th December 1942,
aged 96 years.
