who died 13th November 1882,
aged 30 years.

J. Brimblecombe signed a petition to the Governor, Sir William Jervois, C.B., G.C.M.G., requesting that the life of John Caffrey be spared in February 1887 after being convicted with a man called Henry Albert Penn of the murder of Mr Robert Taylor at Great Barrier Island the previous year. The petition was unsuccessful.
